European Adventures, the Pictures: Switzerland and Austria

To see the blog post that accompanies these photos, click here

Lucerne Switzerland. The clouds almost, but not quite, blocked out the distant mountains

Swans, ducks, and coots loved the bread we had for them

She's so sleepy! How sweet.

Rising in elevation mean descending in temperature

And up we go on the funicular to the Alpine village of Murren!

Our final tiny train to the alpine village

Planning for the future...

We rose in elevation from Interlaken to Murren. 567m-1634m. That is mighty high

Salzburg and its distant fortress

Mozart's chocolate balls!

Its gynormous!

Kathryn and I climbed to the fortress that evening

New sticker on my computer

Of course, the panorama room in the Sound of Music museum was closed

The Hills really are alive!

Hallstatt Austria.

"And who do you think you are?"

The Catholic church with the Bone Haus

You can read all about the Bein Haus here

The sweet (if not expensive) little gnomes for sale

So many houses had trees growing in front of or beside them. It was lovely!

The little town's gods! Do not mess with Hallstatt.

Aww, Haribo Color-rado, making me think of my siblings out there.
